Hi,

I am creating my private message system for an app I am creating.

I notice on the Yii forum it allows the user to delete private messages from both sender and receiver.

If I am the receiver and I have been having a conversation with the sender and I delete the message thread what happens on the senders side of things?

Does he still see the message thread?

Does it disappear from the senders side?

Also if it does not disappear from the senders side and the sender sends another message in the thread that I have deleted what happens then? Does the whole thread re-appear as though it was never deleted?

As you know the forum used here is from IPB (Invision Power Board).

I really never thought about those situation but you can test it with someone here on the forum ;)
