Hi @samdark when they have estimated release Yii3?
Currently Laravel has taken a lot of ground, personally I prefer Yii like many here, however many companies and programmers follow the trend I mentioned.
I have my expectations in Yii3 and that the lost terrain is resumed, although I have noticed too much prolongation in its launching, is there anything I can collaborate on?
I hope this post is not taken badly, only curiosity and concern for the aforementioned, since it is a reality that is happening.

i was just asking to check, if there is any inbuilt features available to interact with MongoDB or NoSQL db’s in yii3.

I would love to get back to yii3 as soon as Gii is ready. Yii3 has the bells n whistle i m interested in.

Since Yii3 is not yet ready, you can use Yii2.
I do not want to migrate Yii2 code to Yii3. That’s why like many others I have been waiting
