Congrats ! for YII-1.1.8 i want to listen some good news from YII guys that what is the release date of YII 2.0 its almost December 2011.

We have a project that is just getting underway with Yii. We are so pleased with the framework thus far, but as an enterprise we are concerned with the lack of announcements in regards to the next release. Is there a beta test circle that we could join to see what’s coming in the near future?

its good idea but we need Yii 1.1.9 before Yii 2.0 am i right ?

Yes, 1.1.9 will be definitely released before 2.0.
