I think Yii will be more widely accepted if we translate (at least) the Definitive guide of Yii to other languages. I know that it is not an easy task but by allowing some trustful members to edit the contents to their native languages will help a lot its spread. Just like wikipedia does 
The assumption that all programmers know english as coding is english based is wrong. Its translation will push the framework a little bit further.
I know there will be lots of people ready to help, even if it is one page per day… I am actually one of them.
What do you think? And if thought, what are the challenges to overcome in order to make it true? How can we help?
