Static function TabularInputManager::load() should not be abstract

I’m trying to use the extension “ztabularinputmanager” but I get this error:

Static function TabularInputManager::load() should not be abstract.

Does anyone know why a static funciton can’t be abstract?

(I’m using php 5.3.
