I’ve just realize that when we do an small amount contribution (like 1$/month), 44% goes for paying transaction fees.
Maybe we can suggest those backers to switch 3$ on quarterly contribution base (lowering to 23% fee)

That’s interesting idea but I’m afraid that won’t work well. Despite having desire to contribute, humans tend to forget things. Recurrent charges are set up and forget kind of thing. No need to remember it.

I’ve just check open collective subscriptions options and there’s only monthly and yearly.
Maybe 12 a year? Well, maybe even 9 per year is better than 1 per month.
I’ve already switch. But maybe psychologically 12$/yr is more than 1$/mo
