I don’t know how to do that, but is this something that the yii plugin would better help you with?

I configured netbeans 7.3 formatting setting to suite Yii2 coding standards formatting specifications. Here is the setting file which needs to be added at /nbproject/project.properties for netbean projects. Hope, somebody can use this for their Yii projects for auto-formatting on netbeans 7.3 IDE.
Note: Remove .txt file extension.
