Localhost vs remote host yii framework

I successfully ran edusec on local host with major changes made to the modules of the software. But on upload to a remote server, it hangs at "Database exception. The version 3 runs on yii framework. I have checked the files and it runs well locally but on remote it does not run at all.

I don’t know edusec but if I were you I would check the paths pointing to the Yii library.
