how come Yahoo and Google are listed as active user in the forum?

and look at the bottom of the forum, you’ll see Yahoo and Google

If you go to the member list and search for a member google… there are none…

When you see "google" in the active user list… this just means that google spider is indexing the forum at that time…

what if a code a simple console app

that will "crawl" to this site,

what name will be displayed? :P

I guess the forum software recognizes the search engines… so in that case (custom crawler) it would treat it as a guest
