  2. How web stats information is instantly updated for website hit counters?

  3. Where I can get free analytics for website hit counters?

If anyone knows about this please help me.

try Google Analytics. I think it is one of the best and it is free.

Thanks for your quick & valuable replies. I have tried some software but I found that Google is having lot of significant data problems. For alternative I also tried goStats & piwik & I found that goStats is providing free analytics & hit counter but piwik software is too costly in terms of hosting and maintaining it. What are your thoughts about that? Please suggest me.
