Hello there,

does anyone got experience with Yii Framework for creating a File Hosting Website / Cloud Storage? I would like to know what is needed here.

I am looking for something similar to RapidGator.net (the site seems to be done with Yii Framework too) where users can register and manage their own files including uploading, downloading, statistics and paid membership plans.

Are there any extensions, best practises, documentation that could help me getting started?

It is better to outsource the project that you don’t know how to achieve this. Or you can create a team and make them work with you.

File Hosting Website what is so difficult there. First think the only upload section and if you need to view them you have render them on browser but you can easily download them. Other things are user management and file managed based on user thats it.
