As we know that we have number of gridLayout in PHP world but if we talk about Yii2 we prefer default YII2 grid view,like we have another kartik-v/yii2-grid for additional options on your Yii2 data representation.
after this poll we will explore all the possible option of layout.
Both Yii2- Grid & Kartik -Grid are awesome 
But features like fixed header, nice UI, fluid columns, Export options in default that make the Kartik is Beautiful.
