Yii Meetup: New York City

I started a new group to bring New York City (and surrounding area) Yii Framework enthusiasts together:

From the group’s official description: “Whether you’re an experienced developer who wants to meet other developers, or a newbie hoping to learn some new tricks, we hope to provide a environment for shared learning and collaboration.”

I’ve also scheduled our first meetup for Tuesday, November 13, at 7:00pm. It will be held in the offices of Control Group, which is where I work. We’re located in the Woolworth Building in Manhattan, and here is our address:

Thanks! Right now we’re looking for any and all ways to publicize this, so please feel free to share the info. We’re hoping to have monthly meetups, and we’d really like to get some good momentum going. We’ve got some informative demos planned and hope to hear how other people are using Yii.
