Yii first installation - advanced app template

Hi,

I’m very new to Yii.

I’m trying to select a framework for corporate applications development.

I managed to install Yii on a Xubuntu 14.04 x86 machine and, after solving an issue related to php security extension, I could get the basic app template that is bundled together with the Yii framework.

On the other hand, the advanced app template doesn’t have the ‘web’ folder, as the basic one has, so one can start up the application. Did I look into the wrong place? Is it missing? What has to be done?

Advanced app template have two ‘web’ folders, one in ‘backend’ folder and another in ‘frontend’. So it have two distinct apps with some common config and another files.
