I am new to yii. In some tutorial i come to know about yiic. But can we use this framework without yiic. (By typing the code manually like core php). I am totally confused. Please help me. Thanks.

yiic is a command line utility that can generate the skeleton of the new webapp with some basic working initial code… but a new webapp you can code all manually if that is what you are asking…
