If everything goes as planned, Yii 2.0 RC is released on Sunday September 28, 2014.

Currently it’s looking pretty good: https://github.com/yiisoft/yii2/milestones/2.0%20RC

If you have localized the framework to your own language, it’s time to check that localizations are up to date before Sunday.
