I was wondering if the Yii 2.0 guide (http://www.yiiframew…uide-index.html) will be offered in downloalable form (pdf would be great) for those of us that sometimes cannot be always online. There are also sections marked as TBD, it would be great if these get finished at some point in the near future. For someone to start from scratch with Yii 2.0 (but for other migrating from 1.1 too) the guide is no less than absolutely necessary.

I also liked the chm format for the api in version 1.x. It was easy to use, super fast and easy to find the class you need.

I hope the same documentation format for 2.0’s api will also exist in chm format too.

I’m struggling with this as well. Seems for the time being, you’ll have to compile your own PDF.

There is https://github.com/b.../yii2-apidocchm which is a chm with the Yii 2.0 guide and the api. This is probably what we want, I just think it should be better if it was released from upstream, in a yii2-docs package.
