Yii 2.0 Advanced Template With Yii 1 in Backend - Anyone Tried It?

Hello:

Working on a major update for a project so I’ve been using the Yii 2 advanced project to create the front-end in Yii2. But the back-end was developed in Yii 1.x. Anyone have any experience using the two.

So to reiterate:

Yii 2.01 in frontend

Yii 1.15 in backend

If you’ve been able to get this to work I’d love any tips you have.

If there’s nothing to be shared between these except database then there’s no problem. Just two completely separate apps.
