Widgets and LavaLamp biting

Hi all,

We’re using LavaLamp jQuery plugin for the menu (http://plugins.jquery.com/project/lavalamp2). All seems fine until we’re using LavaLamp and the CCaptcha or ETinyMce widgets. This combination seems to disturb the LavaLamp menu:

TypeError: Result of expression ‘$(".lavaLamp").lavaLamp’ [undefined] is not a function.

The menu does no longer have it’s submenu’s.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any ideas on this?

I’ve had JQuery problems in conjunction with the TinyMCE widget. I ended up removing the widget and using the full TinyMCE package from their site.

In fact I’m coming to the conclusion that I’m better off not using widgets in many cases. Some of them don’t get updated with new releases and I often have problems configuring them how I’d like.
