why controller take some time to update

Hi hi!

Can i know why when i update my controller it will take some times for it to take effect in my web in shared hosting environment

How are you editing it? If you’re updating locally and publishing to a remote server (be it via FTP or whatever), it’ll take some time to detect/upload changes.

do u mean yii will take sometime to detect the changes?

or issit the boostrapping is taking sometime?

is there anyway we can make it detect the changes in a shorter time?

Develop the application locally rather than remotely.

May i know if the changes detection bottleneck lies on the time the file being uploaded in to the sharedhost via Ftp or the boostrapping process?

if its the boostrapping process isnt it the same if i develop locally?
