Since some weeks it seems the "View New Content" is broken. It always only shows me about one page of new topics. But if i check manually e.g. in "General Discussion", there are 3-4 pages with new topics for me.

Check your forum settings General → View New Content Method.
Ok, that seems to solve it. No idea why this was changed. Didn’t even know about this setting
