Urgent: Yii Links Redirect To Localhost/xampp/splash.php

Hi all

I have a Yii project installed on my local server which needs some editing, but when I try to go other links beside homepage I’m redirected to localhost/xampp/splash.php, can anyone tell me why this should happen?

Hi,

i suppose your link points to the server documen_root (http://localhost/) Then you get redirected to /xampp/splash.php. Remove xampp default files and dir.

Your link is not good.

Thanks for reply, but I found another solution, I made a virtual host for my project and it began to work, but now I don’t understand what was changed that it is now working.
