Relationship To Other Table

Hello everyone,

I have one table as student which is joined to other table as Exam.

Records displayed in Grid are as follow in Student’s View:

Date(from exam table) stu_name Stu_contact

Now I want to apply sorting in my model criteria based on the exam table date.

But I have not used that date in search() function.

you can search like this




$criteria->compare('exam.Date',$this->examDate);

in model’s search() method here exam is the name of the relation for exam table defined in relatios() method and $this->examDate is the attribute that holds filter input
