refresch captcha

There seems to be a problem with refresh captcha on page reload or after successful submit.

While googling, I’ve come across a topic suggesting the following:

The captcha will not refresh the captcha image unless you do one of the following:

1. comment the following line inside validate method or just remove it: if($session[$name]>$this->testLimit && $this->testLimit>0)

this will refresh the image every time you insert a wrong captcha or you successfully submit the form.

2.change

$this->renderImage($this->getVerifyCode());

to

$this->renderImage($this->getVerifyCode(true));

to refresh the captcha on every page refresh

Normally i should be able to change this without altering CCaptchaAction file by providing some parameters but i wasn’t able to find such solution. Let me know if there is a way to do it better.

when I did the first part of suggestion, nothing changed. But when passing true to getVerifyCode(true), captcha always returns an error as if the entered code is wrong.

Would much appreciate any help on this problem.

Hi,

I have a problem:

when I click on the refresh link ("Get a new code") the page redirect to the json output of the ajax request. Then I click on the browser Back button and the page display again now with the new captcha image.

What I expect is only the image refresh, not the page.

What can I do to solve this problem?
