My display pages are typically longer than the height of the visible page, thus requiring scrolling with overflow set to auto. The problem I have is that the default footer supplied by yii places it in the middle of the displayed data, and not at the absolute bottom. Is there a setting somewhere that I can use to float this item down to the very bottom of the scrolled display?

I’m not sure if a “sticky” footer is exactly what you are looking for, but it adds a nice visual design element, using it your footer will always be at the bottom of your content and if you content is smaller then the browser windo, at the bottom of the window.
