PinoyProfessionals.com is my third website converted from Joomla to Yii.

It’s a local community website for Filipino Professionals. Founded in 2005 using Joomla. Converted to Yii in 2014.

It’s based off my other website Dizkover.com. Made some changes to accept Real Estate, Autos, Jobs, Directory and Classifieds posts data.

Site Feature:

  • Forum, Claissifieds, Real Estate, Jobs, Autos, Directory type of posts

  • Subscribe to specific categories

  • Vote posts (most votes goes to front-page)

  • Built-in comment system (upvote/downvote / sort by best, controversial, new)

  • View Posts by Votes/Most Discussed by Date Range (ala old Digg)

  • Profile page

  • Follow users

  • Social Login

  • Update Profile/Posts/Notification/etc…

  • more…

The code is base from my other site, Dizkover, where it took me 4 weeks to develop.

For this new site, I modified Dizkover code to accept classifieds data.

So I would say, 2 months total for this new site.
