Hi everyone,
The Yii & Netbeans instructions (http://www.yiiframework.com/wiki/83/netbeans-ide-and-yii-projects/) correctly state that "Selenium Module for PHP" needs to be installed in Netbeans.
However, what the instructions fail to mention is that the "Selenium Server" plugin also available and you can use the plugin as your selenium server within Netbeans. For my windows XAMPP setup, this greatly simplifies getting selenium, and therefore functional testing, to run.
