This is a request to keep the CAutoComplete widget in Yii. Please reconsider deprecating it for CJuiAutoComplete, which forces the load of all the jui* files and slows down your website (+ pollutes the internet).
There’s a new fork of jquery-autocomplete with new features and bugfixes. It seems to be a drop-in replacement of the old one:

I don’t want to drag on Jui but the thing is a huge beast (and ugly too).
