I think the most high performance php framework should use the most high performance JavaScript library and I want to ask you thinking about http://extjs.com which have many advantages specially in point of performance and I think it’s better than JQuery
The problem with ext is its license which is GPL, incompatible with BSD.
Yii doesn't prevent you from using ext or other js libraries in a Yii application, though.

Can you link me to a quick tut for doing this? There seem to be quite a few assumptions and dependencies on jQuery. I enjoy jQuery, but it is incomplete. I have an active project that requires features from the DojoToolkit.
