Install Yii 2.0

Hi all,

I never used php framework before. I downloaded yii-advanced-app-2.0.12.tgz and unpacked.

In tutorials "Creating Your First Yii Application" section, I found this

% YiiRoot/framework/yiic webapp WebRoot/testdrive

but I didn’t found framework directory and yiic.

What is problem? I forget download something?

Apparently, you are reading the guide for Yii 1.x - that’s the obsolete (and quite different) version.

Read the guide, and it should become clear: each and every step is explained.
