How can we run yii1 application on php 8.3?

We wanted to upgrade our php version to the latest 8.3. What changes are required in the yii1 framework? Is anyone making these efforts?

I don’t see any update regarding PHP 8.3 on yii repo. If someone doing it then not made pull request yet.

One of my old sites is built with Yii 1.1, and it has been operating fine on PHP 8.3.3 / AlmaLinux 8.

While it may be dependent on various factors, I think your app has a good chance to run on PHP 8.3.
