In this role, you will be expected to possess an exceptional ability to learn on the job, take complete ownership of your work, and jump into a variety of problem sets that may transcend your knowledge and skill limits.
Much of the work will involve writing, testing, and deploying high quality code whilst working with cross-functional product teams to seamlessly integrate our technology across our product universe.

Responsibilities:
Building world-class solutions and owning improvements on one or more existing products within our product universe, while working hand in hand with a team of other talented developers.
Analyzing and amending PHP software and MySQL database errors in a timely and accurate fashion and providing status reports to the Applications Development Manager.
Working closely with the Architects, developers, program and product managers conceptualizing and developing new software programs, databases and applications.
Meeting deliverable schedules in the development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects.
Assisting in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
Consistently write, translate, and code software programs, stored procedures and applications according to specifications with the guidance of the Applications Development Manager.
Running and monitoring software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Administering critical analysis of test results and delivering solutions to problem areas.
Serving as a liaison with network administrators, systems analysts, database administrators and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or the organization’s software systems or databases.
Highly Desired Skills/Experience:
Troubleshooting and maintaining Perl applications
Amazon Web Services consisting of S3, RDS, AWS API Tools
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study.
At least three (3) years demonstrable software design and development experience in modern PHP development
Experience with PHP Frameworks (such as Yii, and/or Symfony), MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB
Apache, Linux, CentOS configuration and command line usage experience
Hands on experience with RESTful web services and software troubleshooting within an integrated development environment.
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies and Best Practices
