Googlebot Asking For Files Directly

Hi:

I’ve seen in my Apache logs that GoogleBot is asking for this path: /framework/views/nl/profile-summary-firebug.php

and others similar (in other languages).

How is it possible ?

I’ve checked and I don’t have link to that resource (it’s a fresh Yii installation).

I’ve Googled this and I saw somebody had in his AWStats log the same requests … anybody else noticed that ?

Yes, Google (and some other crawlers) are sometimes looking for weird or non-existent urls.

But, it’s part of their job :) They’re trying to index the “dark side” of the internet.

Nothing to worry about, just make sure these files are not accessible from internet.
