Developed in Yii 1.1.x over a 2 month period and now I am adding new features as time permit, gotta get to my day job too sometime 
I would like to thank the Yii team for a really awesome framework. Was the first time I used a PHP framework to build a site and glad I chose Yii.
Looks good. You think about making forum public as extension/module? 
Guess I could, I don’t mind sharing 
Problem is that it’s bit tightly integrated with some other stuff from all over the site, like the user profile system, the file upload system, the tinymce editor, etc. so I would have to spend some time to extract it cleanly and to be sure it still works afterwards.
I was actually thinking of maybe turning this into some kinda cms system since I am allready planning on using the same code on another site with some changes specific to that site and would then be able to determine what kinda features one would like to have configurable.
