Download Link For Excel Sheet Stored In Folder

Hi,

I'm in need of the following process and I need step by step solution for the same.

I just want to create a link in my website’s footer. While i click the link the excel sheet file that i’ve in a folder called xxx should be downloaded. Thats it. Pls anybody who knows help me with step by step process.
