Hello, I’m trying to run Yii 2.0.43 on shared hosting.
how to run the advanced app without using yii serve command

I would recommend kartik-v’s Yii2 Practical-A App for your needs. It’s an application template based on yii2-app-advanced and is best tuned for shared hosting environment.

P.S.

But my best recommendation goes to “yii-app-basic” and kartki-v’s Yii2 Practical-B App, especially when you are using a shared hosting.
While you could deploy yii2-app-advanced template on a shared hosting environment, it can sometimes be very tricky and hard to handle.
