Primary responsibility will be to provide daily system administration support of classified programs. The candidate will maintain and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
o Build and maintain servers for User Authentication, DNS, NFS, and other present and future service requirements.
o Build and maintain Window /Linux Servers and Desktops.
o Respond to user requests.
o Ensure all Information Systems (IS) equipment are configured and maintained to retain DSS accreditation during classified operations
o Verify automated audit functions are performing properly
This position can be a Computer Systems Technologist II - E02 or a Sr. Computer Systems Technologist I - E03 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.
Candidate must have 2+ years’ experience as a Systems Administrator with experience using, but not limited to: .
o Microsoft Server/Client operating system.
o Active Directory.
o Redhat Linux operating system.
Worked in a closed area and be familiar with DSS NISPOM requirements
The ideal candidates will possess at least some of the following Desired Skills:
o Strong experience of TCP/IP concepts.
o Experience with storage concepts (SAN or Local Attached).
o Shell Scripting experience.
