Cgridview Paginate By Month

Anyone who has an Idea on how do I paginate a CGridView by Month?

I’m guessing I can achieve this via ActiveDataProvider by adding a criteria and creating navigations to generate the results per month. But is there an easy way or something built-in in Yii already?
