Blank page shown

Yii 1.1 Installation and Setup

I installed Yii framework and sample skeleton webapp is up and running in public html directory.

I’m trying to move the source directory outside of the public access (i.e. from /var/www/html to somewhere in my regular user home directory), except index.php and editing it to point to the new position, but when I’m doing this, just a blank page is shown.

I cant understand why I’m getting this.

any help would be appreciated.

actually, It’s a permission problem. (the users home directory didn’t give the execution permission to other users)
