AR vs Query Builder

Now query builder is in 1.1.6 I’m wondering what’s best to use?

Would there be a best scenario for using each or will it be more down to personal preference.

i think that does not exist a best scenario, just what you like to, you can even write the sql query all by yourself.

but this feature can help to write less sql query by hand, and also, it is more clean to see the sql what you want to do.

Anyway, that is just my opinion. :)

It’s up to you. I prefer using AR for editing data and query builder at heavily loaded pages since it eats less memory.

Was the way i’m leaning too, builder for reading and AR for manipulating so I have rules etc.
