Any chance of an official Yii2 plugin for PhpStorm?

It would be really great if we could get an official (or even unofficial for that matter) plugin for PhpStorm. I’m aware of this one: https://github.com/cmazx/yiistorm - however that is for Yii1 and from what I read only partially works it not broken altogether (unsure if that was fixed?).

I was thinking since JetBrains are a Yii supporter then it would most definitely be one of the first IDE Yii would officially support no!?

I asked on the JetBrains forum but unfortunately it doesn’t sound like it’s a high priority right now.

Nope. I don’t think so.

That’s very significant effort and we aren’t experts in JetBrains IDEs platform. Voting at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-322 and providing list of features we absolutely need is all we can do.
