Allowing Client To Upload Image Gallery To Protected Folder?

Hi folks,

I currently have a client who is a photographer.

I am trying to build a CMS-type-thing in their site that will allow them to upload thumbnails and full-size images of the same gallery and them save it to a protected folder.

Can this be done in Yii without writing custom code? Are there any extensions that handle any of this?

BTW, as the image uploads will be done via the browser, is there any way for the client to be able to upload to the protected folder in Yii?

Yii is not a CMS out of the box. It is a framework to write things such as a CMS.

Would I be write in assuming Wordpress would take take of this?
