Hey samdark, sorry I have completely forgotten about the sources.
Here is a zip containing a PSD file and a Fireworks PNG file, the layout was made in Adobe Fireworks CS3, it may be a little different because i exported it with Fireworks CS4, but if there are any questions please send me a message and I will be glad to help.

Apart from me favoring a blue color scheme over a green scheme, why I prefer Hex’ design over the chosen one is that the header and the logo of Hex’ design is not so dominant as it is in the chosen one.
If there are more people who feel this way about the header and logo then maybe it’s not too late to take that into consideration?
