I’m new to the world of Yii (and OOP in general) but have a sound knowledge of PHP
Anyone know where I could get some good learning material other than the Yii site (and this forum!)
I have done the blog tutorial and I am getting an understanding, but I need some solid teaching!

ha, I’m in a similar boat 
I’ve been working with frameworks off-and-on for a couple of years now, but I’d definitely love to get some formal training regarding OO MVC PHP frameworks, advanced PHP 5 OO techniques, etc.

…couple of years??? I’ve been using Yii for two months and already built a quite large application…you must be ahead of me!!!

I’ve been using Yii for a couple of weeks, hoping to have our application done in a 2 month time frame, that’d be nice
Complete CRM rewrite while maintaining existing CRM, so it’s going to take me awhile :-\
