I just found this framework, and I’m happy. I begin at once with version 1.1. alpha. Never seen anything like that before!

A question: you said that there isn’t a bit of backward-compatibility from 1.0 and 1.1.
My question is: if I start developing using the 1.1 alpha branch, will I find problem when upgrading to the 1.1 beta/RC/release?
Couse if I have to start a new project I want to use the last build of Yii
There are several backward-incompatible changes introduced in 1.1 which may require certain amount of effort to change if you want to upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1 for an existing project.
If you are familiar with Yii and are starting a new project now, you may consider using 1.1 alpha. Although we can’t assure you we won’t introduce any BC-breaking changes from now on till formal release of 1.1, it should be fine if you follow closely the changes we introduce everyday.
Is there some roadmap of yii 1.1?
