Prepared Statement

[yii_king (Micho23)]

I am using the below prepared statement:

$sql = "SELECT lp, name FROM cars WHERE (lp = :lp)";

$command = Yii::app()->db->createCommand($sql);

$command->bindParam(":lp",$model->lp,PDO::PARAM_STR);

$result = $command->execute();

This is giving me an error message:

"Indirect modification of overloaded property CarManager::$lp has no effect"

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

I solved it by simply doing this:

$lp = $model->lp;

$command->bindParam(":lp",$lp,PDO::PARAM_STR);
